Real Steering Wheel Controller with Light ControlIncluded!
The brand new Maverick MTX-400 controller features a realsteering wheel, just like full-size cars, plus loads of dials forfine-tuning the handling and controls of your truck! The pistolgrip shape feels natural in the hand and with just a pull of thetrigger you are off and running! There’s buttons to controlthe lighting, too: turn the lights fully on or off, or have justthe brake lights on! The control is literally in your hands!
550 12T Motor & Fixed Gear Motor Mount
The durable and robust 12-turn, 550-size motor is the workhorseof the Maverick RC fleet, and it’s the perfect introductionto RC driving for most people! With high amounts of torque andsealed motor design it’s a great, low-maintenance way to just‘plug and go’ for hours of fun! The motor mount alsofeatures fixed gearing positions so there’s no risk ofgetting the gear mesh wrong, should you decide to change thegearing for more torque (faster acceleration) or higher top speeds– super simple! Just a couple of screws will do thetrick!
60A Waterproof ESC
The MSC-60BR-WP is the ideal partner for the 550 brushed motorfitted in the Quantum2 MT! You can use a variety of battery typesand sizes with it, from 6-7 cell NiMH or 2S batteries. It’sfitted with an XT60 plug, and a plug adapter is included to let youuse appropriate batteries fitted with the popular white RC plug.It’s also waterproof so it’s great for blasting throughmud and puddles! Please note: electronics are not designed forsubmerged operation. Be sure to rinse off any dirt or salt waterwith clean water immediately. Check the motor to make sure no wateror dirt is inside, spray with electric motor cleaning spray and letdry fully before driving again.

The solid brush guard style bumper not only looks great –it’s fully functional, too! It’ll keep crash damageaway from that amazing looking body, it’s a handy carryinghandle, PLUS it’s fitted with extra-bright LED lights thatyou can turn on and off from the controller! The skid plateunderneath also allows you to slide over obstacles and jumps tokeep you going and the Quantum2 MT coming back for more!
Sturdy rear bumper with built-in LED light bar and adjustablewheelie bar!
The back bumper matches the styling of the front, plusit’s extra-thick for increased protection. You’ll alsonotice the huge wheelie bar right there! It’s not only gotfunctional spinning wheels to help you keep control during speedruns, but it’s adjustable as well! Keep it low for extracontrol or let those front wheels fly for extra style! And ofcourse we have to mention the bright red rear LED lights –PLUS working brake lights, which you can turn off and on from thecontroller!
Front suspension and chassis brace holder!
We have listened to Quantum MT owners and made tons ofimprovements all around the chassis! One of the many little detailsyou’ll find on the Quantum2 MT is this extra thick brace thatties the shock tower and bulkhead together, strengtheningeverything into a solid unit!
Quick and efficient motor removal and adjustment!
The motor is held in place with a fixed motor clamp under aheavy duty plastic seal, protecting it from dirt, stones and otherdebris that could damage the spur gear. And in case you ever wantto swap out the motor to give the Quantum2 MT a good clean, themotor is easily removeable with just 3 screws (and 2 more if youwant to take off the motor clamp). You’ll notice that all thehardware is metric machine-thread screws as well – justanother mark of steady improvement for Maverick RC!
Quickaccess to all-metal gear differentials for easymaintenance!
Just a handful of screws gives you quick and easy access to thedifferentials front and rear – just like pro racing trucksand buggies! The HD outdrives used to be an option – now,they’re standard parts! You’ll also see the metal ringgear surrounding the diff, and there’s more metal gearsinside… the Quantum2 is super tough and ready for anything!The only plastic you’ll find in the diff is the outercase.
Dual-Pad Slipper Clutch!
Taking a cue from top-spec pro racing models, the Quantum2 MT isfitted with an extra-tough, metal dual-pad slipper clutch. This isnot only super durable, it’s adjustable as well! Of course,you don’t have to adjust a thing – the whole truck willwork great as-is out of the box, but if you want to do those littleracer tweaks, it’s really easy to do!
New TREDZ Linebacker tyres wrapped around new 5-Spokewheels!
We absolutely love the all-new Linebacker tires from Tredz!These are bi-directional tires which work great on all surfaces:gravel, mud, dirt, on-road or off-road! Plus, check out the littlehex logo lugs! These are pre-glued on extra-large newly designedwheels that look like they’re going a million miles an hourjust standing still!
Super-strong dual-bellcrank servo saver!
Another racer touch you’ll see on the Quantum2 MT is thedual-bellcrank steering, with adjustable servo saver fitted with athick metal spring. The cammed & sprung action of the servo saver– as well as the one-piece steering rods and durable yetflexible front suspension - helps protect the internal gears of theservo from crashes.

The Quantum2 MT uses racing-style C-hub and steering blocks togive you outstanding performance on a variety of driving surfaces,letting you let your driving do the talking! The suspension partsuse thick plastic where it’s best: the main suspension armplus camber & steering links, and high-spec hubs and uprights keepthe tires pointed exactly where you want them.

At the rear end, it’s the same story: super thick lowerand upper suspension arms for dual-wishbone action front and rear.Only the best designs for Maverick RC drivers! And just check outthe little touches you won’t see unless the wheel is removed:lightened plastic wheel hubs and even optional camber link mountson the one-piece upright!
Strong metal suspension braces for extra strength!
To add even more the durability of the Quantum2 MT, thesuspension features tough metal braces to protect the lowersuspension arms. This allows the arms to do what they were designedto do, in concert with the camber and steering links and even thewheels and tires: flex when needed to absorb crash damage and keepthe truck in one piece, so you can keep on driving and having funwith your friends.
The perfect size for bashing!
With a total length of 475mm (that’s 18.7“) andwheelbase of 285mm (11.2“), the Quantum2 MT is the perfectsize to toss in your car and take to the park or local BMX or RCtrack for a day of fun. And the 355mm (14“) width is justnarrow enough to play around with other 1/10th scale buggies andtrucks but big enough to mix it up with larger scale machines youmight come across!
